Traders have given a cautious response to a plan which could see Ashby market relocate and a major new supermarket be built in its place.
North Lincolnshire Council has revealed a deal with the owners of the adjacent former Kwik Save store in Ashby High Street to swap sites could be accepted.
If the deal comes off it could mean the market traders trading indoors seven days a week – instead of just on Thursdays – and a new supermarket built on their former site.
