When shopping for your weekly essentials we all have our favourite go-to supermarkets.
But how do their prices actually compare to street markets?
Sometimes shopping locally can save you money, and there is definitely no shortage of street markets across the county, from Chelmsford, to Basildon and Pitsea.
A lot of us would choose supermarkets over street markets because most of them are open seven days a week.
Some are even open 24 hours a day, while street markets often only operate two or three days a week.
But how do market prices compare to the likes of the supermarket Tesco? EssexLive reporter Paige Ingram visited Romford Market to find out.
