Student Rosie, now 22, began as a child with her brother and mum selling her grandmother’s homemade cakes at the Dursley Farmers’ Market.
Later, for her Girl Guides’ Baden-Powell Award, she made greetings cards and added them to the cakes’ stall. So when a new organiser of the every-second-Saturday morning market was needed Rosie stepped into the volunteer job.
“It kind of felt natural to be doing the role because of having grown up with the market, it felt like a natural progression.
