Operator Paul Martin said he expected the market to consist of an initial 30 stalls
A NEW all-year market is being opened in Bognor Regis.
The new enterprise will be based in two former booking halls at the town’s railway station.
Operator Paul Martin said he expected the market to consist of an initial 30 stalls after he agreed a deal with the railway authorities to move into the space next month.
He planned to expand into the adjoining former railway social club to take the capacity to 50 stalls.
“Bognor needs somewhere to trade,” he said. “It’s so expensive to set up a shop here.
“There’s been a lot of demand for stalls so far. This market will be open six days a week all year.
“There will be a farmers’ market with breads and cheeses and a clothing section.
