DUNFERMLINE is to get a new marketplace – East End Park!
The Pars ground is set to host a twice-weekly market, on Tuesdays and Fridays, outside the stadium behind the Norrie McCathie stand starting this summer.
The markets will run for a sixmonth trial period and the first one could be held as soon as mid-June.
Dunfermline Athletic executive director Karen Masterton confirmed that operators Scorpion GB Limited would run the market, which would be a mix of stalls and car boot sales.
She told the Press, “We’ve been hoping to get it started for a while now and it’s going to be run for us by Scorpion GB, who used to run the Kinross Market.
