A campaign to stop proposals to move Preston’s Indoor Market goes before the city council this Thursday.
Market traders are unhappy with plans by Preston City Council to re-locate the indoor market to a new site.
A petition, launched at the end of May, has gathered 1,898 signatures.

Campaigners will have five minutes to tell councillors why the plans should be scrapped in favour of refurbishing the existing market.
The council had unveiled plans to move traders to the covered fish market, with others moving into the streets around the market.
