THE RETURN of a regular market in Midhurst has taken a step forward after a meeting between owners, the Town Trust and those interested in the future of the newly refurbished Market Square.
It was officially opened in August after the completion of a £400,000 renovation project which has seen it resurfaced and enhanced. But many people have been disappointed that there have not been public events held there since.
There has also been dismay that despite the refurbishment, the axe has fallen on the town’s farmer’s market which will move to Petworth next year
