Markets to boost our trade

New markets are being launched in Eastwood and Kimberley.
The markets, launched this week, have been organised by Broxtowe Borough Council to help rejuvenate the town centres.
The market in Eastwood, which started this week, will be held every Monday in Wellington Place, and the market in Kimberley will be held on the third Saturday of every month, starting in April.
The council decided to launch the idea after seeing the success of a market in Beeston.
Since it started last year, Mondays have gone from being one of the quietest days of the week to one of the busiest.
