Market traders will presented the council with a petition calling for the public consultation into their future to be rewritten.
Hazel Kent, of the Bracknell Market Cafe, will hand the petition, which has been signed by more than 1,000 people, to the council tonight.
The document highlights market traders’ concerns over what they call a “loaded” consultation regarding the future of the town’s most hated building, Winchester House, and the market underneath.
Bracknell Forest Council opened the consultation in November and gave neighbours three options, one of which is to keep the market and Winchester House as they currently stand and not redevelop the site.
