A NEW indoor market inspired by the television drama Broadchurch is expanding.
The Food Market@Seeleys in Clevedon opened its doors in the former H Seeley and Co newsagents at Hill Road in May.
The food market runs each Saturday and Tuesday from 9.30am to 3.30pm and has proved a massive hit with local residents since its launch, welcoming hundreds of people through its doors each week.
The Saturday market is fully booked with stalls selling items including fresh fruit and vegetables, cheese, preserves and Middle Eastern food.
There are also stalls selling artisan muffins, gluten-free products and freshly-cut flowers.
So strong is the demand for space at the market there is already a waiting list for stallholders desperate to book a slot. Businesspeople in Hill Road decided to establish a food and craft market after stalls were set up along the street for a scene in Broadchurch, which was filmed in the town.
