THE long-awaited Eastbourne Street Market will be setting up stall in the town centre on August 1.
The market has been a long-term project involving the Eastbourne Independent Traders Association, Chamber of Commerce, Eastbourne Borough Council and MP Stephen Lloyd.

The core idea behind the market is to boost footfall in the town on what is traditionally seen as a quieter trading day – Wednesday.
Organisers are working to ensure the market complements the town’s shops – rather than taking trade away from existing businesses.
