The chairman of Crewkerne Town Team says the group is coming up with so many good ideas that the hardest thing to do is keep focused.
The team submitted an application for a government grant on Friday, under a scheme headed by retail expert Mary Portas.
One of the group’s main priorities is to rescue the Crewkerne weekly market which now attracts only one stallholder a week.
The group also has many wider aims with the intention of putting Crewkerne on the map. Chairman Jonathan Edgington said: “Crewkerne is a good town to promote and it needs the drive and enthusiasm which this team provides.
