CALLS have been made for market stalls to be put on Wrexham High Street.
A number of business owners in the High Street area of the town centre want stalls to be placed on the street as part of the Monday market as opposed to stalls only being located in Queen’s Square.
They believe the area could reap the rewards of holding market stalls there.
Alex Jones, owner of the Bank Bar on High Street said: “I have wanted a market down this end of town for some time.
“If we can get more market stalls down here on a Monday then it will increase footfall all around the town, not just in the Queen’s Square area.
