An award-winning Italian market has arrived in Derby and shoppers are savouring the treat:
RED, white and green flags flap in the breeze along Derby’s busy East Street and crowds gather.
The small row of stalls are causing quite a stir – the Italian market is back.
Fresh, mouthwatering products create a colourful food display.
Bread, salami, nuts and olives are all on sale.
And for the sweet-toothed shopper, there are Italian biscuits, nougat and Turkish delight.
“I love it all,” said Derby shopper Fiona Smith.
She is out with her 24-year-old daughter, Amy, and she simply cannot pass by without stopping to buy.
“I going to get some fudge,” she says. “I shouldn’t really because I am diabetic but what the doctor doesn’t know won’t hurt him.
