Luke’s Café, a new pop up food stall from Brockley, offers award-winning Hartland Pies at the Southbank Centre’s Festival of Neighbourhood until September 9.
The purpose-built “food shed”, which is located next to the Hayward Gallery, represents a contemporary take on the traditional idea of a community café.
If the taste of the pudding is in the eating, then the joy of Hartland Pies is in the sharing.
Luke Hartland, 27, son of the award winning pie maker Ian Hartland and a sales manager for Hartland Pies, combines his experience as a French-trained chef with the family’s four generations history of making great pies.
