Louth’s two youngest market stall traders are being given the backing to make their business ventures even more successful by the local council.
Hannah Bristow, 21, and James Simpson, 22, have gained support from East Lindsey District Council, who run Louth market, in conjunction with the National Market Traders’ Federation.
As part of the First Pitch Scheme the duo will enjoy free rent throughout Love Your Local Market fortnight, from May 15 to 29, followed by a 50 per cent reduction in June and July and one free stall per month from August until May 2014.
The backing is part of a drive to both support existing traders and attract new ones in order to help the market grow.
