Food traders moving into Sheffield’s new market will be giving customers a preview taste of their wares at the city’s food festival.
A selection of stallholders has signed up to a special preview stall as part of the Sheffield Food Festival this weekend, which runs from tomorrow until Sunday.
Samples of beer, Indian spices, oriental ice cream and meat from a specialist butcher will be on offer at the stall.
Visitors will also have the chance to win prizes worth over £1,000.
Nicholas Tissington, from the Coffee @ Moor Market stall, said: “My family has been involved in the market trade for 70 years and the opening of the new Moor market is a great opportunity to expand on this with the new specialist coffee stall.
