Market stallholders say East Lindsey District Council markets are on the decline – and that not enough is being done to help.
But the authority has responded, saying it listens to all the traders’ concerns.
Comments from a number of market traders at a recent Horncastle area committee meeting alleged the lack of a pay on the day option was damaging to business.
Market trader Alan Grant is worried about the future of his stall.
“Let’s put it this way, if it went back to how it used to be, it would be a lot better,” he said.
