December 20, 2011 South Kesteven District Council
Now that Grantham Market Place’s £1.6m improvement works are complete SKDC is looking for consent traders to stand on our historic square.
Consent traders will be able to trade between Mondays and Fridays once the relevant consents have been granted.
SKDC’s portfolio holder for economic development, Cllr Frances Cartwright said: “Now that all of the works are complete and the Market Place looks so wonderful it would be great if we could get some traders in who will add character to the area. This will also give local people additional shopping options.”
Our policy is to not put traders in direct competition with each other or existing shops so we would like applicants who trade things like traditional craft goods, flowers and fruit and vegetables from traditional barrows or similar mobile units.
For further information and details on how to apply please contact our licensing team by phone on 01476 406190 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org
