Shoppers to this year’s Christmas Market spent £20 million.
Initial calculations indicate that Bath Christmas Market 2013 brought in more than £20 million to the local economy, with more than £13 million being spent in the wider city.
The three-week market, which had 155 stalls, attracted 370,000 visitors.
Chief executive of Bath Tourism Plus, Nick Brooks-Sykes, said the 2013 market had been the best ever.
“Visitors have been delighted with the Christmas shopping offer which Bath provides. Through a massive team effort, we have delivered a market which celebrates British businesses and quality.
