The market has enjoyed a successful reopening in the Easter sunshine.
Salford’s revived second hand market opened to glorious sunshine over the Easter bank holiday weekend.
The much-loved Fitzwarren Street market, which was closed in 2012, was relaunched on Friday under new ownership to sell vintage, antique, retro and craft goods and to host a Sunday car boot sale.
There are also plans for a farmers’ market, a toy market and a teenage market for the young people of Salford to showcase and sell their handmade crafts.
New owner Yvonne Youngs said: “We were really, really pleased with this opening weekend. We had a fantastic reception and more stalls were booked.
“The traders came out and the sun came out.”
