Cambridge’s colourful markets will be the centre of a big celebration in May – and News readers will get the chance to vote for the stall they reckon is the smartest.
The city council is mounting a campaign called Love Your Local Market, backed by the National Association of British Market Authorities.
The aim is to attract new market traders, and highlight the importance that markets play in the community.
The campaign will run from May 14 to May 28, said spokeswoman Heather Bevan-Hunt, with free food tastings and live demonstrations.
