The operators of a new market which will open in Wembley Park in the new few weeks have pledged to stop traders selling counterfeit goods.
Market Place (Wembley Park) Ltd have signed a code of practice which includes them working and taking advice from Brent and Harrow Trading Standards Service (BHTSS) to ensure stalls will have the highest standards.
As part of the agreement, called the ‘Real Deal’, Market Place will ban the sale of any illegal goods, keep proper records of trader’s identities and individuals working on stalls and promote consumer advice.
Nick Rhodes, chief executive of Market Place, said: “Market Place is absolutely delighted to be offered the opportunity by Quintain to operate markets and events at Wembley Park.
