Old Granada Studios launches Manchester’s first weekend urban markets

A fresh community of weekend market traders will gather on Old Granada Studios site for weekly market.
Corrie’s much loved community may have moved off the old cobbles for good, but the new owners of the former Granada Studios have announced that they’ll be welcoming a fresh community of weekend market traders from April.
On the same day that Old Granada Studios lets visitors back on the Coronation Street set for its famous tours, they’re also bringing the place back to life with street vendors, special community events and live performances.
“Launching the markets on April 5 is Manchester’s own high end street specialist BITE, followed by the Finders Keepers flea market on April 6.”
Every Saturday and Sunday, from 11am to 5pm, boutique stalls selling art and design, craft, gourmet food, as well as fashion and vintage collectables will move into the Quay Street site.
