A STREET market is set to come to North Harrow for the first time and stallholders are sought for the landmark event.
The town centre manager is appealing for entrepreneurs or businesses who want to sell their wares, from florists to furniture sellers, artists to jewellery makers – with stalls provided for free.
Schools and community groups are also expected to provide music and dance throughout the weekend in the latest attempt to boost trade.
The trial market is part of attempts by Harrow Council, traders and the wider community to work together to help revitalise the area.
North Harrow town centre manager Rachel Jenman, who was appointed in the new role last year, said: “North Harrow has lots to offer with great shops, restaurants and cafes and a street market is a way of encouraging more residents to visit and spend in the area.
