IDEAS to rejuvenate Horncastle market continue to be debated after new figures reveal a decline in stall occupation.
The number of stalls occupied from December 2012 to August 2013 fell to 1,612 from 1,634 in the same period last year.
Proposals put forward at a meeting of Horncastle Town Council on October 8 included subsidies for new stall owners and the placement of advertising on car parking signs.
Horncastle market, which takes place on Thursdays and Saturdays, saw a raft of changes introduced by East Lindsey District Council at the start of 2012.
