This is how a revamped Mexborough Market could look under ambitious plans unveiled for the first time today.
Artists’ impressions have been released by Doncaster Council showing how a £400, 000 regeneration is set to take shape.
The images show how the outdoor markets’ rigid stalls in York Square are set to be replaced with gazebo style pop ups that can be put up and taken down at the end of market days. They also reveal new street furniture and planters.
Council bosses hope to arrange pop up stalls in such a way that drama and music performances can be put on in York Square.
