Market stalls initiative for Midsomer Norton

Midsomer Norton Town Council is planning to spend up to £12,400 on buying market stalls to bring their hopes of a weekly market in the centre of the town a step nearer.
The council has already given grants to help set up a weekly Thursday market at West Clewes, a monthly vintage market and a grant to the regular Farmers Market which has just celebrated its 10th anniversary.
Now councillors hope to see a weekly market in the Hollies Garden to help bring more people into the town.
They hope that by investing in possibly up to 24 umbrella market stalls the council will make the initiative more viable
