FIREFIGHTERS have worked through the night to tackle a major blaze which ripped through an indoor market in Dundee’s second major fire in less than 24 hours.
At the height of the incident more than 60 firefighters were involved in fighting the fire which broke out at Hilltown Indoor Market shortly before 6.15pm on Wednesday.
Two fire engines were still at the scene on 7am on Thursday damping down and dealing with any hotspots.
The fire came less than a day after a major blaze at Braeview Academy which will be out of commission for some time after suffering extensive damage.
