HERNE Bay market is on the move and could open in the town centre early next year.
Council bosses have vowed to push through plans to relocated it from the Kings Road car park to Mortimer Street, a move first proposed as part of the redevelopment of the town centre.
Local economy manager Caroline Hicks said this time it was not dependent on the car park being built on – although it is understood that a discount supermarket such as Aldi or Lidl has earmarked the site for a new store.
