HOSPITAL patients, visitors and staff can from now on get hold of their five-a-day without leaving the site.
A new initiative has seen George Eliot Hospital welcome along a fruit and vegetable stall outside the Nuneaton NHS Trust’s main entrance.
It is being run by the Barrow Boys Grocers, who are made up of father and son team Paul and Andrew Lancaster. They will be known to many from their established stall in Nuneaton town centre.
“It is now a lot easier for patients, visitors and staff at George Eliot Hospital to get their five-a-day,” said a spokesperson for the hospital.
