A clean-up operation is underway at Netil Market after a fire broke out in the early hours of Saturday morning, destroying a cycle shop and damaging neighbouring businesses.
The market’s permanent stallholders opened as usual on Saturday with many regular visitors turning up to show their support. A sign outside the Cycle Pit Stop stall on Saturday simply said: “Terrible fire. Closed, but back very soon.”
