Bus company officials are planning more talks over calls to bring buses to Doncaster market at the end of the month.
First South Yorkshire, Doncaster’s biggest operator, has agreed to another meeting with Doncaster’s Market Traders Federation and Doncaster Council officials .
The firm says it has not finalised any plans yet.
The Doncaster Star is campaigning for more buses to be routed near the markets, and traders say they would like services to stop on Market Road, outside the Wool Market.
A spokesman for First South Yorkshire said: “We have not finalised our plans as yet and as such are not in a position to make a substantial comment.
