A woman with a passion for art is hoping her project will bring people together.
Wendy Cottam, 43, is a member of the Gravesend Arts Consortium and hopes Footfall will give a platform to creative people in the area.
Mrs Cottam, of Dover Road, Northfleet, an artist and part-time shop assistant, has organised a series of workshops and exhibitions, to be held every Saturday from March 22 to May 31.
All ages are welcome to Footfall, which will take place at Gravesend Borough Market, off the High Street. It costs £30 a week for studio space.
The mother-of-three hopes it will unite people from Gravesham’s diverse cultural community.
She said: “We’ve organised the workshops so all cultures are represented and there is quite an eclectic mix of workshops for people to do.
