Starting a new business? Prospective Market Trader? Need to get your goods direct to the public?
As part of the National Love Your Local Market fortnight, Widnes Market are offering new stall holders 2 days for a tenner! That’s less than the cost of a CD to get your business a shop front to the public.
Following the Mary Portas call for markets to help new businesses, Widnes Market is offering two days trading for just £10 to new stall holders – So rent won’t chip away at your profits!
The cost for the two days is the same as ten Lottery scratchcards.
The outdoor stalls are being offered so that people looking to deal direct with the public can use the space at less than half the normal price of a stall.
Stalls are available between Saturday 23 June and Saturday 7 July to coincide with national campaign Love Your Local Market, organised through NABMA (National Association of British Market Authorities).
Halton Borough Council’s Executive Board Member for Regeneration, Cllr Ron Hignett, said: “Why not get a stall for a couple of days to get a taste and feel of being a market trader.
“Where else can you reach out to so many local people for such value?”
Markets have been proved to be better value for money for all kinds of goods. A recent survey indicated that local markets sell fresh goods cheaper than supermarkets.
Coupled to good value is the personal qualities of having a trader who knows about the goods they sell. advice is always on hand from the experts who can tailor goods to your needs.
