A group of worldly wise women in Wembley are hosting a craft market for Mothers’ Day.
A CRAFTY group of enterprising women in Wembley are offering their hand made products at a new market.
The group World Women Wembley, which was set up out of Cottrell House, Wembley Hill Road, supports talented craftspeople in the area and will hold its first market on Mothers’ Day.
The first market will be held this Sunday and it is hoped the event will blossom in to a community favourite and continue each month.
Jessica Courtney Bennett, project manager for Meanwhile Space at Cottrell House, said: “The World Women Wembley was an idea which came out of the community working space at Cottrell House. We provide the space for artists or people who wouldn’t necessarily otherwise be able to afford to rent somewhere and would have to work at home.
