LONG Eaton’s historic market could be revamped under plans to boost jobs and trade in the area.
Councillors would like the market to become a place for younger entrepreneurs to trade.
And they would like to see a greater variety of goods on offer, including beauty products and computer equipment, on stalls in the town’s Market Place.
Councillor Geoffrey Smith, Erewash Borough Council’s lead member for regeneration, said the market is an attractive place to start a business.
