Doubt over the future of Keighley’s street markets
Bradford Council has been accused of “not being interested in Keighley” after it was revealed funding could be axed for the town’s popular street markets.
COUNCILLORS have said market stallholders can either like it or lump it as a new code of conduct is brought in to try and prevent ‘unacceptable’ abuse of town hall staff.
STALLS once belonging to Uttoxeter’s farmers’ market have come under the spotlight as councillors argue they should be able to use them.
