LEEDS CITY COUNCIL MARKETS SERVICE
WEDNESDAY MARKET OPPORTUNITY
The current licence for the weekly Wednesday ‘Bazaar at Leeds market’ held on the Leeds City Council outdoor market will expire this summer.
Therefore Leeds City Council, on behalf ofthe Markets service,is seeking tenders from private market operators, or individuals, to operate (by way of a Licence) the weekly Wednesday event. There are 201 fixed stalls available, each stall having its own electricity supply and lighting.
The outdoor market is located within a prime position in the City centre attracting a weekly footfall of over 250,000.
The type of events that will be considered include specialist markets, collector’s market, general markets selling new/second hand goods, etc.
