Manchester’s famous Christmas markets have been recreated… in Lego. The stalls of Albert Square have been rebuilt on a tiny scale using 23,000 tiny Lego bricks.
The miniature market shows customers drinking mulled wine and shopping for presents. It also includes stalls selling croissants and pancakes, and miniature Christmas trees. The town hall’s giant Santa is also featured in the model, along with the frontage of Manchester town hall.
The miniature model has been built by staff at the Legoland Discovery Centre at Barton Square in the Trafford Centre
