The successful Continental Street Market attracted thousands of visitors to Scunthorpe town centre last week and over the weekend.
The Continental Street Market, hosted by R&R Events, featured around 20 different stalls selling delicious hot and cold food and unique craft items.
Hosting successful events in Scunthorpe town centre forms part of North Lincolnshire Council’s wider plan to attract visitors and transform the town centre through public and private sector investments worth £60m.
Plans for the town centre include the refurbishment of Scunthorpe Central – which reopened its doors in May as a community hub where residents can borrow books and get advice on training and jobs – and a new indoor market for Scunthorpe in the former BHS store.
