Brixton Station Road Community Market
Brixton Station Road Community Market is launching a “FOOD CORNER” and this is a great opportunity for all food traders who have a stand alone unit and trailers.
To apply for a pitch, the trader needs to fill in the application form and send it back to John Gordon by April 1st. On April 15th they will get an answer whether they succeed with the application or not. Traders will be able to start trading on April 22nd.
We are planning a launch event on April 26th (Friday, one day before “The Great Brixton Bake Off” event). We are offering an introductory fee of £30 per week to trade from Monday to Friday (Saturday not included) and the trader must pay 4 weeks in advance.
In order to make loyal customers, we want to offer local workers (eg: Lambeth Council, Recreation Centre, Volunteer Centre and Brixton Ice Rink etc) a 10% discount on food. By applying for the Food Corner, the trader must agree to offer a 10% discount to all eligible customers.
Unfortunately we have no space for barbecues or Caribbean food.
So, the applicant must send back to us:
1. The completed application form
2. Public liability certificate attached
3. Employer liability certificate attached
4. Level 2 Food Handling certificate attached
5. Proof of Food Handling registration with Lambeth Council attached
6. Menu and prices attached
7. Trailer photo(s) attached
If you have any questions, please contact John Gordon by calling him 07944 787336 (12 pm – 5 pm Monday to Thursday only).
